Present Continuous Tense

USAGE
Digunakan untuk menyatakan perbuatan yang sedang terjadi pada saat dibicarakan.
e.g. We are studying English now

FORMULA
(+) :  Subject + am/is/are + verb-ing
(-) :  Subject + am/is/are + not + verb-ing
(?) :  Am/Is/Are + Subject + verb-ing?
    Yes, Subject + to be
    No, Subject + to be + not

Note:I am, He/She/It is, You/We/They are

e.g. Mereka sedang makan di restoran
    (+) : They are eating at the restaurant
    (-) :  They are not eating in the restaurant
    (?) :  Are they eating in the restaurant?
          Yes, they are
          No, they are not

VERB-ING
1. Berakhiran huruf e maka e dihilangkan + ing
    e.g. make    ---) making
    take    ---) taking
2. Berakhiran huruf ie maka ie dijadikan y + ing
    e.g. die    ---) dying
    tie    ---) tying
3. Berakhiran bunyi huruf mati, hidup, mati maka huruf terakhir digandakan + ing
    e.g. sit    ---) sitting
    swim    ---) swimming
4. Di luar aturan di atas, maka langsung +ing
    e.g. eat    ---) eating
    drink   ----) drinking
